Paneer stuffed moong dal chilla

ingredients

to make moong dal batter
moong dal - 1 cup
onion 
green chili 
garlic 
ginger
salt 
chili powder 
water

to make paneer filling 
paneer - 200 gms
oil - 2 tsp
cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
onion - 1 no. chopped
green chili -  1 no. chopped
salt - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
kashmiri chili powder - 1 tsp
chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
garam masala - 1/2 tsp
juice of 1/2 lemon 
coriander leaves

method
1. soak moong dal in three cups of water for about half an hour.
2. in a mixer jar combine the soaked dal, ginger, garlic, onion, green chillies, salt and red chilli powder.
3. blend to a smooth batter.when done transfer to a mixing bowl. keep aside.
4. heat oil in a pan and add the cumin and onion and cook for 2-3 minutes till the onion is translucent.
5. add the tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes till soft.
6. add the paneer, turmeric, chilli and garam masala powders and mix well.
7. cook for 3 minutes. keep aside.
8. heat a pan, when hot, pour a ladle full of batter in the centre of the pan and spread batter from the centre outwards using a circular motion till you have a thin pancake
9. drizzle a little oil over the edges and cook on medium heat until the underside is done and the edges leave the pan.
10. spoon some of the paneer mixture down the centre of the chilla.
11. fold the edges over. cook for another minute or so. transfer to a plate and serve hot with a chutney of your choice.

nasıl yapılır?

1. orta ateşte tencereye süt ve toz şeker ilave edip, şekeri yedirene kadar karıştırın ve ocaktan alın.
2. orta ateşte başka bir tencereye tereyağını ilave edip, eritin. çam fıstıklarını ilave edin ve altın rengi oluncaya kadar, tereyağını yakmadan karıştırın.
3. un ilave edin ve karıştırmaya devam edin.
4. son olarak şekerli sütü ilave edip, kıvam oluncaya kadar karıştırın ve ocaktan alın.
5. karışımı yuvarlak bor cam veya benzeri bir fırın kabına döküp, yayın.
6. önceden 180 dereceye kadar ısıtılmış fırının ızgara modunda üzeri kızarıncaya kadar pişirin. afiyet olsun.⁣

The best kind of breakfast to start your day. plates of food like this always keep me well satiated and stop those darn sugar cravings. as much as i love pancakes with maple syrup i try and limit them to once a week.

ingredients

for the dough
maida - 2 cup 
salt to taste
water
for filling
onion -  1/2 cup
carrot -  1/4 cup
beans -  1/4 cup
garlic -  1 tbsp
ginger -  1 tbsp
cabbage -  1/4 cup
capsicum -  1/4 cup
salt to taste - 1/2 tsp
pepper

for the marinade
besan- 4 tbsp
salt - 1 tsp
kashmiri red chili powder - 2 tsp 
black salt - 1/2  tsp 
chaat masala - 1 tsp 
garam masala - 1/2 tsp 
lemon juice - 1 tsp 
kasoori methi - 1 tsp 
coriander leaves - 1 tbsp ( finely chopped )
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp 
hung curd - 4 tbsp 
1 piece charcoal
ghee - 1/2 tsp
for serving 
onions
coriander leaves 
lemon juice 
chaat masala
method 
1.mix maida with oil and salt 
2. knead it for 10 mins and make small balls out of it 
3. mix all the ingredients for the filling 
4. roll out the dough into small disc like shapes 
5. place the filling in it and fold it into a momo 
6. repeat the same process for all the momos 
7. deep fry the momos in batches and set them aside 
8. in a bowl, mix all the ingredients required for the marinade 
9. add the deep fried momos into the bowl and mix well
10. place the live charcoal, add some ghee and close it with a lid and infuse the momos for about 10-15 mins 
11. add some oil into a pan, add pan roast the marinated momos 
12.serve them hot along with chaat masala, sliced onions, lemon wedges and coriander leaves.
